The book of Samuel in the Bible gives the meaning of Ebenezer as ‘stone of help’; this is what underpins the business vision and philosophy of Ebenezer Farms.

Pioneered by Philson Joseph, Miretta Joseph and later on joined by son Phillip, this veritable bread basket has proved two biblical promises. One is that “He that tileth the land shall not lack for bread”, and the second, that “He that tileth his ground shall have plenty to eat.” Both sayings emanate from the book of Proverbs.

In the farming business since 1976, Ebenezer Farms occupies 5.4 acres of arable land in the Roseau Valley, and can honestly claim a close adherence to organic practices in farming with very little use of inorganic fertilizers
